WHAT IS HYDRO JETTING / SEWER JETTING?
High pressure water jetting uses high velocity water pressure to literally blast through heavy waste blockages in sewer and drain lines. Typically restaurants and other commercial establishments require sewer jetting, due to the size of their lines and frequent usage. Grease is often the reason for such blockages.
Hydro jetting has the velocity and power to break through the toughest of blockages and scours the full diameter of the pipe. Hydro jetting is a more effective way to break through pliable obstructions such as grease; sand, pebbles, mineral deposits, and general waste build up. Where cable machines usually push through obstructions, Hydro- jetting thoroughly cleans and flushes the debris out of the drainpipe.
Short of replacing your pipes, Hydro-jetting is the most effective way to clear your pipes of blockages without causing damage to the surrounding area and infrastructures.
HOW DOES JETTING WORK?
Hydro-jetting equipment is mounted to a truck that holds hundreds of gallons of water. The high-pressure water tank is connected to a flexible hose that has a nozzle at the end. Ordinary water is propelled through the hose under varying amounts of pressure into the sewer line. The special nozzle at the end is engineered to disburse jets of water in a forward and reverse motion. These high-pressure streams of water blast through and break up the debris, cleansing the pipe at the same time.
